Health & Wellbeing
At Pembroke Primary School, student wellbeing is an important part of teaching and learning. All students participate in dedicated weekly wellbeing lessons that build the social and emotional skills they need to feel confident, connected and ready to learn.
Students develop skills in understanding and managing emotions, building positive relationships, resilience, problem-solving, teamwork and making responsible choices. Student voice and regular wellbeing check-ins also help us understand how students are feeling and provide support when needed.
Through our Respectful Relationships program, students learn about positive and respectful relationships, while cybersafety and digital wellbeing are taught to help students make safe and responsible choices both online and offline.
